FAQ’s

    • Is Summer Camp open to students from all four sites even though it is being held at Rancho Cucamonga Middle School?
      • Yes, summer camp is open to all current K–6 students. All students are welcome to attend regardless of their primary school.
         
    • Will transportation be provided?
      • Yes, for students who do not currently attend RCMS. A bus will pick up students from each elementary school at 7:40 AM and return students at 5:00 PM. There will be no mid-day transportation provided.
         
    • Does my student need to stay for the entire morning academic session?
      • Yes, students are expected to stay for the entire session from 8:00 AM – 12:10 PM.
         
    • What time is breakfast?
      • 7:50 AM – 8:20 AM
    • What time is lunch?
      • 11:45 AM – 12:10 PM
    • Can I pick my student up after lunch?
      • Yes, at 12:10 PM.
         
    • Does my student have to stay for the extended day program?
      • No, you may pick up your student at 12:10 PM at the end of lunch.
         
    • Can my student stay for the extended day program after the morning session?
      • Yes, all students are welcome to stay until 5:00 PM daily.
         
    • Are there any non-program dates?
      • Yes, there will be no program on June 19th.
         
    • Do I have to complete a district and Think Together application?
      • No, all summer camp students will register using the Think Together registration link.
         
    • How do I sign up for transportation?
      • Parents/guardians will be contacted regarding transportation once their student is officially enrolled in the program.
         
    • Does completing the Think Together application guarantee my student’s enrollment in the program?
      • No, enrollment is contingent on a number of factors including space, staffing, program needs, etc.
         
    • If my student has an IEP and will be participating in the ESY program, do they need to register for summer camp?
      • No, the IEP team decides who will be placed in the ESY program and sets up student enrollment through the Special Education Department.
