What is DAAPAC?

The purpose of the DAAPAC is to involve and engage the parents/caregivers of African-American students in the decision-making processes leading to improving the quality of education for African American students.

DAAPAC Goals:

Parent Engagement

Average 15 parents at each DAAPAC meeting.  

Student Engagement
Implement a method for students to create and monitor their academic and attendance goals.

Academics
At the District level, decrease the percent of students in the “Not Met” category by 10% in both ELA and math.

Attendance

At the District level, decrease chronic absenteeism by 10%.
